We're looking for a Health and Safety Advisor to join a leading manufacturing company based in Northampton.
This stand-alone role offers the chance to lead health and safety initiatives at a site specialising in producing high-quality seating solutions for multiple industries. With robot and manual welding, the environment is challenging yet rewarding, offering variety and opportunities to make a real impact.
You'll report directly to the Plant Manager and play a crucial role as part of the senior leadership team.
This is a hands-on, operational role that requires a proactive approach to safety and the confidence to drive change in a setting where safety standards are ready to be revitalised.
Key duties of the Health and Safety Advisor: - Be a visible presence on the shop floor, conducting regular safety walks and engaging with staff.
- Manage risk assessments and develop policies to ensure compliance across the site.
- Lead accident investigations and implement preventive measures.
- Oversee safety reporting and maintain compliance with ISO 14001 standards.
- Support key projects, including site upgrades.
- Collaborate with the wider group's global safety team for mentorship and alignment.
